Cuts in Medicare 2010 for the number one killer of Americans
In 2009 an estimated 785,000 Americans will die of heart disease .In 2009, an estimated 1,525000 Americans will have a coronary attack usually in the form of a heart attack. One American will die every minute from a heart attack.

“On Jan. 1, Medicare patients in Florida will confront a new reality in cardiovascular care.
The Obama administration has released the final 2010 Medicare fee schedule, severely cutting reimbursement for Medicare cardiovascular services by as much as 40 percent to 60 percent.
In particular, outpatient imaging, which is one of the best tools for early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, is targeted for the most cuts.”
