Compassionless, Georgia Police Beat Man After Son’s Suicide

Brutal police show no compassion.

Cops beat a man unmercifully in his garage while his son hung nearby. Man dared to raise his gaze.

At least 4 police officers participated in beating a man after the man found his son hanging by a rope in his garage.  Loganville Georgia, police, were summoned to a hysterical man’s house after the man found his son dead in his garage.   A police officer grabbed the man’s arm to keep him from entering his home through the garage.  The man told the cop to keep his hands off  him and reportedly the cop went ballistic and started hitting him.  According to neighbors who witnessed the beating, two more officers held the man down while the first cop and another cop pummelled the defenseless man over and over.  One neighbor said she had never seen such brutality in her life and from a police officer, no less.

  1. Compassionless, Georgia Police Beat Man After Son's Suicide ……

I found your entry interesting do I’ve added a Trackback to it on my weblog :)…

  2. I think there is a more to this story than has been told. There are two sides to a story. The GBI is investigating this. Does the man have injuries? Yes. But, all we know is what he says happened. A neighbor didn’t come out of her house until she heard a commotion. So she didn’t see what happened to lead to this alleged brutality. Someone call allege or accuse anybody of anything, just because someone is accused doesn’t mean they are guilty.

  3. You are right L’ville blogger. Then of course with Loganville police, maybe this time we ARE hearing the other side. I will not leave actual name and e-mail. This is Loganville police we are talking about.

  4. Regardless of how the police handled this, they have to know that someone finding a dead relative would be shocked and very distraught. They have to consider this before they decide to ‘handle’ someone who isn’t cooperative. As far as I’m concerned, unless the man struck one of the officers then they should all suffer consequences. I mean, who do these cops think they are? I would be interested in hearing what prompted these officers to act in this manner. This man was obviously upset to begin with.

  5. It does’nt make no sense at all for four officers to just about kill a man after he finds his son dead by commiting suicide, there is no other reason or excuse if the man did not threaten, or attempt to do any of the officers any harm, this is what happens to black men all the time,it’s about time someone takes a stand,I hope this guy sues the city of loganville and gets the justice he deserves it’s ridiculous.

  6. LOGANVILLE COPS ARE THE WORST! I KNOW A GUY WHO WAS HIT AND ARRESTED BY A LOGANVILLE COP FOR TURNING ON HIS BLINKER. AND WHEN THE FAMILY AND GF OF THE BOY WENT UP TO THE STATION TO COMPLAIN, THEY SAID THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE AND WHEN THEY GOT BACK HOME THERE WAS A PRIVATE NUMBER THAT CALLED THE HOUSE AND TOLD THEM TO NEVER COME UP TO THE STATION COMPLAINING ABOUT AN OFFICER AGAIN. AND THEY HUNG UP. MY BF WAS HARRASSED FOR YEARS BY AN OLD OFFICER OF LOGANVILLE, UNTIL HIS PARENTS HAD ENOUGH AND DID SOMETHING ABOUT. THANK GOD HE DOES NOT WORK IN THE FORCE ANY LONGER; WHAT HAPPEN TO PROTECT AND SERVE. I KNOW GIRLS THAT HAVE PARTIED WITH POLICE OFFICERS AND HAVE DONE “FAVORS” FOR THEM. LOGANVILLE COPS ARE AWEFUL PEOPLE AND IT IS ABOUT TIME, SOMEONE ELSE FINALLY STEPS IN AND TAKES ACTION. I HOPE LOGANVILLE GOES DOWN!!

  7. Sounds like a threat to me. That number may be private but it can always be obtained. There are records. Remember the date and time of that call. I’m not a lawyer but that could be classified as a terroristic threat or assault or both. Stalking is in there too. Criminal, prosecutable acts! Just my opinion. http://definitions.uslegal.com/t/terroristic-threat/,or assault. If you have a complaint against a police office consider talking to the chief of police or the head of the sheriff’s office. or,and …..contact a city council member, the mayor, the local D.A.,the federal attorney general’s office or the local state’s attorney or the G.B.I. Write letters to local and state newpapers, send tips to local and national TV.
Below are some websites that have more tips concerning police abuse, police brutality or just bad police

  8. All I know is that most parents in Loganville are scared s**tless about their kids getting stopped. They profile all hispanics as illegals (which I am not but my adopted son has been harrassed because he “looks” hispanic). My wife fears the day she gets pulled over by the “Loganville Nazi’s” and plans on driving straight to the front of the Kroger parking lot to be as safe as possible. Real fear!

  9. I am a grandmother and have been stopped and harassed by a very rude loganville cop. It was totally unprovoked and uncalled for. I never expected a police officer to act in such a manner. This incident occurred just three days later and was no surprise to me after my incident. They need to clean up this department. It gives all Law Enforcement a bad name.

  10. WHY DO WE STILL NOT HAVE THE OUTCOME AND/OR NAMES OF THESE PIGS?

  11. Well I know those officers on a personal level. They would have never done what all of you are accusing them of doing. You all are fools! The cops wouldn’t mess with you if you aren’t doing anything wrong!!!
