WHY THE JOBS BILL IS A BAD IDEA
The jobs bill Obama is proposing is a bad idea. It will give employers a 6.5% reprieve from payroll taxes for any new employee hired. and……… IF the employee remains with the company for 1 yr. the employer will receive an extra $1000.00.
This won’t help the job market. Job creation occurs and unemployment decreases when there is a need for the job. Employers hire when there are enough people with decent paying jobs and disposable income to spend and buy their product. With the added expenses of mandatory health care and poor consumer spending ,employers are not hiring. This program encourages employers to fire old employees and hire new ones. After all they can hire a new employee at cheaper wages and get a rebate of 6.5% on payroll taxes and another $1000.00 at the end of one year.
SO LOOK OUT! IF YOU ARE HOLDING A JOB NOW AND THIS BILL PASSES YOU MAY NOT HOLD IT FOR LONG.
However Obama could but WONT support a jobs bill presented by a congressman from Georgia that WOULD create jobs. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lloyd-chapman/obama-refusing-to-back-pr_b_692598.html
